Weapons used by Bruce Davis

      Davis owned a Radom 9mm pistol. He said it "looked like an Army Colt .45." Bryan Hartnell said Zodiac's gun "looked like a .45." On 10/11/69, about a month after the Lake Berryessa attack,  Zodiac's weapon was a 9mm. Was this the gun used at Lake Berryessa? Is this why Hartnell had a hard time identifying the gun? He was mainly shown photos of .45s.

One report on Davis says that "he took his guns to a gunsmith . . . he later got rid of these things." It also says that Davis was a "member of the NRA" and he claimed to be a "good shot." Davis had also been arrested "for false identification to obtain . . . a 9mm pistol."
